this image, this moment from this house and this family will be FOREVER imprinted in my heart and mind. words fall short to try to describe all that was flooding my insides as we stood in this "house". rain was pouring through the holes in the plastic sheet that they knew to be their "roof", the wind was ripping through the boards they had as "siding". the husband and wife stood together as she is now expecting her sixth child and all they stood on was Gods provision. in the midst of their trust and complete reliance on God, my faith suddenly felt so small and insignificant. the moments where i wonder "will God provide" seemed so foolish and absolutely ridiculous. that i felt challenged would be an understatement.
