brace yourself...here come a lot of photos! We took a trip to visit family in WI and made a lot of memories! Bella Rose did awesome on the flights and enjoyed meeting more familia and cousins and new friends!
I could do the "norm" and list all the new things she did and experienced while there; however it would be quicker to list all the things she DIDN'T do....what a couple of weeks of change! As month 3 quickly comes to an end and our Bella will be 4 months I must say that was a FUN month....so many new expressions, giggles, squeaks, smiles and awareness of the world around her. Our baby is showing off her personality and we are loving every minute of her!
A bunch of laughs as Bella had finally pooped after 3 days and the cousins got to witness what mommy & daddy call "honey mustard"....she had to go right in this little tub for a rinse off :)
You can tell Lincoln is a big brother...such love for his cousin Bella! Great to see family that came out to Bella's meet and greet at our parents house! Thank you so much everyone
Always love me some campfire time...and some brotherly/fatherly bonding time. Grandpa has Bella peeking through the window :)
Only 5 of the 7 grandkids pictured above, but the first time mom & dad have two LITTLE babies at the same time....fun fun fun and a FULL house!
Uncle Timmy called Alvaro Thursday night when we got to WI and asked if he'd like to go to the Packer game on Friday with him...he made his YEAR...can you tell he was excited from that smile? :)
One of the evenings the Sankeys had us over for dinner and didn't disappoint with the amazing grilled chicken! Ymmmm. And of course Alvaro had to spend some time out fishing! A bit chilly for August, he is actually wearing FLANNEL!
We actually had our FIRST date since Bella was born...grandma watched her while we went to Belts one night for ice cream and again the next morning as we went to Emy J's for breakfast and for a little walk, riverside...Point style! Bella and mommy had to say bye to daddy as he had to go back to FL, but we were so thankful he got to come for a couple of days! We were apart for 10 days...the longest ever since being together and I know it was the HARDEST 10 days of his life without his little girl!
Bella gets a lot of Auntie Andrea and cousin Hannah time as they were so awesome about maximizing the time we were there, driving over to mom & dad's nearly everyday! Bella loves her aunties and cousins so much!
Grandma has so many new things for Bella to try! Curiosity for everything! Mommy cannot believe her little girl can stand in these contraptions already!
Bella fell in love with that green ball from Auntie Andrea...she loves to practice soccer skills by juggling it between her legs/feet!
I LOVE snuggling up to my princess and just watching her sleep! And wow...when daddy left Bella thought the entire bed was hers!
Thankful to my friend Tans for gifting us with the beautiful Ergo carrier...got its first use in WI! And yet another new thing Bella accomplishes is grabbing and holding the toys from the car seat....are you serious!?
This is how Bella got the name "scooter" from grandma...put her upright in a corner and she scoots her way down to find JUST where she feels comfortable...how can you not smile at this little face?! And we had to get in some Facetime for daddy to see his princess...poor Bella recognized his voice and saw his face but would get frustrated because he wasn't there to pick her up :(
Sunday pontoon time! Fishing, food, gorgeous weather, and Bella's first boat experience! She even had a frozen treat :) (her first frozen breast milk...like a popsicle!)...and of course the time wouldn't be complete without getting to change her on the boat!
Craft day with Hannah! We picked out fabric for a special security blanket that she made for Bella...and she LOVES it!
Auntie Loni and Katie come for another visit! Loni brought Bella some "Bella Rose" flowers from her garden...that is actually their name!....and yes Katie...you are holding her right! :)
Mommy gets a massage at Adventure 212...an amazing birthday gift from Alvaro...thanks babe! and thanks to Auntie Andrea for watching Bella!
Mom would hate me if I posted the early AM photos of her and dad...so these will have to do, but one of the last mornings we were there I plopped Bella in bed between mom and dad and she started to roll over for the first time! She doesn't really care for tummy time so she didn't quite make it all the way...but she has got the "tucking" of the arm and leg down and is ready to go.....but mommy is rolling her back and telling her "no more growing up!" She also LOVES looking in the mirror now!...big SMILES every time!
Grandpa treated us to friday night at Culvers!....yummmm. And then a trip over to Vista Royale Campground to say goodbye to the Sankeys :( Bella was mesmerized by the fire!
and that was our trip to WI...well in a nutshell! When can we come back? We miss everyone!
