It's definitely feeling like summer here in SW FL and we are sweating! Reminds me as we approach Bella's 1st bday just how hot I was this time last year 9 months pregnant. How can that be a year ago already? I'm hoping to write out Bella's birth story within the next two weeks because of course I haven't done that….nor have I made any photo books of my daughter's first year of life…..

Bella LOVES to be outside and going for walks and swimming. She doesn't mind being buckled into the stroller now (most days) unless of course she wants to be out walking. She knows where her shoes are and so when we say "lets go" or outside or walk…she goes to get her shoes! What a smart girl. The video is at our clubhouse by the pool…one night to switch it up we let her have a go in there…she loved the wide open space!
Good Friday…went to a service where Bella cried with daddy and mommy sat in service- afterwards we went to Miromar Outlet Mall to get Bella her first pair of Crocs (size 6!)
the dress I wanted Bella to wear for Easter, but unfortunately wouldn't zip in the back….girl problems already :)
the non traditional Easter….went to Lakes Park as the 3 musketeers and let Bella walk and play in the water park…tears when we were trying to leave the water!…and yes we even all had ice cream. As you can see Bella is VERY independent already and does not like to hold our hands when walking…GEESH, only 11 months baby girl!
Finally! The little space we wanted to create for Bella is complete….IKEA children's table spray painted and chalkboard paint on top-shelves for books and a magnet board! She loves it and daddy is glad to be done with it :)
Our friends Byron & Ruth Torres and their daughter, Isabel visited this week and Bella and Isabel met for the first time! Fun play time, beach time at the Sanibel causeway and mommy got friend time as well. We miss them already!
First time to the NEW downtown Ft Myers library with Bella….not the best idea with a girl who is in a phase of loving to SHRIEK at the top of her lungs but she loved running around and meeting new friends….well should I say hitting new friends…we are still learning how to be GENTLE- and yes the shoes came off this day
Oh yes…Bella's first bleeding owie…..walking too fast on the sidewalk and fell right on her nose…this walking thing is SCARY for mommy & daddy!
