...farmers market in Lakes Park opened today for the season which means an adventure for Bella and I every Friday AM and fresh, local: oranges, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers...well you get the idea.
...I got to go to ArtWalk downtown Ft Myers tonight...SOLO! Every first Friday of the month Ft Myers Art Walk happens and its a great vibe w/live music and everyone dining and chatting outdoors-local artists displaying fun things! Grabbed a quick pumpkin spice latte and explored one of my fav shops, The Franklin Shops.
...we got to meet up with an amazing friend of mine, Tanya and her husband & boys this past weekend in Orlando! We hadn't seen each other in 4 years and our husbands and never met and of course now we have children in the mix....what a fun weekend and great catch up time!
...and of course the best thing I love about life right now is our beautiful Bella Rose....let me tell you the last weeks, or even days have been some of my favorite with her. She has kept me smiling and laughing nearly constantly. This girl is intelligent, funny, crazy, and FAST! I'm so lucky to be able to be home with her and witness all these new things...

Family SWIM time
Just 2 of the many faces caught while we take our daily morning walk in the carrier- Bella loves being outside and looking at all the palm trees and listening to the birds and water fountains.
Bella has discovered rolling into the shelves and selecting books :)...good choice Bella..."the power of a praying woman"...I promise I didn't prop that book into her hands for a photo!
The last three days Bella has come up with the craziest noises and expressions- she is so fun to carry a conversation with! She LOVES having her feet on anything to push against and she GRABS for everything. She sometimes sucks in really crazy to create a weird noise...or screams or has this fake cough thing she does....she forms her mouth in awesome ways to try to make sound come out...you can't help but laugh! you'll see in these wonderful video clips....
One of my favorite things lately is watching her when she wakes up or even better when she is SO tired and falling asleep but fighting to stay awake-
So we have introduced just a couple of things...and VERY tiny amounts....green beans and sweet potato...but she also loves the feel of a carrot in her mouth!
So we have found in the last weeks that we literally cannot TRUST Bella to be left alone AT ALL, ANYWHERE in ANY POSITION...not even in this activity center...because our place is so small and she now can walk around this entire toy...but you see it's not so much the center toys she is interested in anymore...its more like everything in the outer edges...whatever she can reach...lets see like one day we found her with the tray of the Xbox open and almost breaking it off, hmmm mommy let her play with a 'child proof' hylands teething tablet bottle and came back from turning the laundry on to find white tablets EVERYWHERE crushed in the floor...and as you can see in the video above....she knows when something is under her as well :) and in the video below she also loves to bend her head completely backwards and hit her head on the toys!
Below are a few pics of our time in Orlando w/Brook, Tanya and Oliver & Eli...we fell in love with their boys...so sweet! We had an amazing time hanging out at the pool in the hotel and also at downtown Disney...so much excitement for Bella and a much needed time for mommy and her friend!
Brook & Tans got Bella this Winnie the Pooh and she just LOVES it...we are teaching "gentle" to Pooh in the first picture!
