Siesta Beach

Partly in celebration for my birthday and partly just because it's been on 'our list' to do while living in FL…we spent last weekend at Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota. It's only an hour and a half away and has been rated as one of the top 10 beaches in the US…mostly for its sugar like sand.

We couldn't have asked for better weather and for a happier Bella Rose…well except when we had to take her away from the beach!

believe it or not this is one of the FIRST times Alvaro sat up front TOGETHER since Bella was born…we moved her car seat so its forward facing and what a game changer!

Booked at the Best Western and although at first I was a bit sad it wasn't right on the beach…it worked out perfect….Saturday night after hours in the sand, water and sun (and sunset) Bella still wanted more water so we ended up going down to the pool at like 8:45 and Alvaro and I took turns with her as the other sipped on the complimentary wine poolside! And then we ordered Carrabba's take out….mmmmmmm
